A 77-year-old patient stated that he had been experiencing severe pain in his lower back and right hip region for a long time and that these pains had reached a level that prevented him from walking over time. The patient, who struggled with pain for about six months, stated that after the examinations, narrowing of the spinal canal and cysts in the lumbar region were detected.

Stating that her daily life was severely restricted due to the pain, the patient said, "I couldn't move or eat. I was told that I would be paralyzed if I didn't have surgery."
